I have my kitchen back this week after 7 weeks of I have my kitchen back this week after 7 weeks of builders taking over my space!! Feels so good to get back to cooking ‘proper’ dinners for the fam. Tonight I took inspo from an @waitrose recipe card and made this chicken & red pepper brown rice pot, cooked in the most delicious smoky paprika & garlic stock. It was so lovely to chill with a glass of wine, the best food and nothing to think about for a couple of hours. Weekend baking!☺️ After making a cake as a gif Weekend baking!☺️ After making a cake as a gift for a friend a couple of days ago, the kids were not impressed that they didn’t get to eat any!!! So today I made them a batch of their favourite oaty choc chip cookies, and to add a little salty touch I topped them with a pretzel before baking.
